Rebecca Farias: Rebecca is the daughter of Joseph Farias III and Lori Farias of 72 Horizon Drive in Tiverton. She has been an all-A student at Bishop Connolly High School. While at Connolly, she was president of the bicycling club, debate team captain, president of the food pantry, and member of the National Honor Society and the World Language Honors Society. She also taught debate at the Antioch Middle School, served at the Holy Trinity Soup Kitchen, and assisted at the Tiverton Library. Rebecca plans to study historical archaeology at Roger Williams University.
Sarah Aguiar: Sarah is the daughter of Joseph and Christine Aguiar of 27 Littleneck Ave. in Swansea. She has attended Joseph Case High School, where she has attained a ranking of 13 out of 126 in her class. While at Case, she has participated in the annual blood drives her last two years. In the community, she has participated in Sophie’s Promise, in the youth group at St. Dominic’s Church, and also with the Wiggle Kids. She plans to attend Salve Regina University to study applied behavioral analysis.
Cassie Graca: Cassie is the daughter of John and Diane Graca of 258 Olympic Road, Somerset, and ranks 11th of 235 at Somerset- Berkley Regional High School. Cassie was a member of the National Honor Society and captain of both the winter track and softball teams, where she earned ranking as an Eastern Athletic Conference All-Star and Herald News All-Scholastic honors. Cassie plans to enroll at Worcester Polytechnic Institute to pursue a career as a mechanical engineer.
Ciara Conway: Ciara is the daughter of Richard Conway of 127 Greenfield St. in Seekonk. Ciara ranked 55th in her class at Seekonk High School. At Seekonk, Ciara was a member of the science and Spanish clubs. She also has an extensive background in community service. She has volunteered at the animal shelter, food bank, and the Brown Engineering Camp. She has also taught 3rd grade CCD and coached soccer. Her work history is extensive. Ciara is interested in a career in occupational therapy (specializing in special needs children) after completing her studies at Quinnipiac University.
Leann Teodoro: Leann is the daughter of Raul and Graciette Teodoro of 48 Four Winds Drive in Fall River. At Durfee High School, Leann attained a ranking of 6 out of 470.
She has been the president of the Portuguese club; she has also been a member of the art and AP clubs, as well as Seniors Helping Freshmen, and she has served as a teacher aide in a summer enrichment program. Finally, she has worked as an activities assistant at the Sarah Brayton Nursing Home. Leann intends to study nursing at Salve Regina University.
Kendra DaSilva: Kendra is the daughter of Joseph and Maria DaSilva or 95 Doherty St., Fall River. Kendra attended Durfee High School, where she was ranked 24th of 470 in her class. While in high school, she volunteered with Dollars for Scholars, Charlton Memorial Hospital, and Forever Paws. She also participated in PAL Softball and Maynick Productions. Kendra worked at FRED TV. She expects to attend Curry College to pursue a career in nursing.
Tiffany Costa: Tiffany is the daughter of Leonardo and Maria Costa of 86 Marehaven Drive in Seekonk. She ranked 29th of 149 at Seekonk High School. At Seekonk, she participated in the audio visual club and the Portuguese club. In the community, she served as a lector at church and as a student teacher at an after school day care program. She has also worked as a waitress. Tiffany expects to attend Bridgewater State University to prepare for a career teaching history.
Sierra Costa: Sierra is the daughter of Jose and Grace Costa of 481 Grinnell St. in Fall River. At Durfee High School, she ranked 22nd of 470 in her class. While at Durfee, she was a member of the National Honor Society and participates in the interact club and the enrichment club. She also works as a dietary aide at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She intends to enroll in the nursing program at the UMass Dartmouth.
Hannah Santos: Hannah is the daughter of Joseph and Marlene Santos of 66 Howland St., Fall River. She ranked 43rd in her class at Joseph Case High School. While at Case, Hannah was a member of the drama club, the Iberian club, the school council, the media club and the yearbook club. She also played tennis and field hockey, which she captained, and for which she received numerous awards. Hannah also did service projects for the following: Red Cross Blood Drive, Sacred Heart Soup Kitchen, field hockey intramurals, field hockey cancer game. Kendra has also waitressed for the past two years. She will attend Roger Williams University to prepare for a career in law.
Grant Mooney: Grant is the son of Kim Mooney of 2 Christine Drive, Westport. He had a solid B+ average at Bishop Connolly High School, where he participated on the debate team, theatre, student council, and the mock trial. He has also served as an assistant teacher for CCD, as well as an altar server. He has worked as a seasonal employee at Old Navy. Grant intends to enroll at UMass Dartmouth with the intent of becoming a lawyer.
Kyle Cordeiro: Kyle is the son of Carlos and Ann Cordeiro of 31 Longwood Drive, Westport. He attended Diman Regional, where he finished in the top half of his class. At Diman, he was an outstanding performer in winter and spring track, and volunteered at open house events. He also played soccer and basketball in the Westport youth programs. His co-op placement was at Carl’s Collision. Kyle intends to enroll at Bridgewater State University to study athletic training.
Allison Jacome: Allison is the daughter of Fernando and Octavia Jacome of 39 Brentwood Court in Swansea. At Case High School, she was ranked 16 of 126 students in her class. While in high school, Allison has participated in the National Honor Society, tennis, the mock trial, and drama. She has also been very involved with the life of her parish, participating in the youth council and the Holy Spirit Society. She has served as a CCD teacher and helped at a soup kitchen. She has also worked as a cashier. Allison will attend UMass Dartmouth to prepare for a career as a lawyer.
Riley Welch: Riley is the daughter of James and Suzanne Welch of 82 Sodom Rd. in Westport, She attended Westport High School,where she attained a ranking of 24. During her time at Westport, she participated in student government, the foreign exchange dance, softball, archery, and Girl Scouts. She has worked 20 hours per week at Subway. Riley would like to attend UMass Boston to major in marine biology.
Alexandra Ryll: Alexandra is the daughter of Patrick and Lisa Ryll of 54 Raiders Way in Tiverton. She is a student at Tiverton High School, where she earned a class rank of 4 out of 141. In high school, Alexandra participated in the National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and the Student Council. She also participated on the math team, the band, the salsa club, the Portuguese club, and the hiking club. She has worked at the Tiverton Public Library and has served as a waitress. Alexandra intends to enroll at the University of Georgia with the ultimate goal of a career in medicine.
Brianna Rapoza: Brianna is the daughter of Brian and Christine Rapoza of 356 Albany St. in Fall River. She has been a consistently good student at Bishop Connolly High School. At Connolly, she has participated on the recycling club. Outside of school she has been involved in the following activities: a local soup kitchen, the CYO basketball league, the Fallen Firefighter Fall River Golf Tournament, and the Chipstrong Foundation. Brianna plans to enroll at UMass Dartmouth to study psychology.
